Monday 16th February - walk *** – Around Felixstowe – sunshine and showers

I did have one eye on the wind for a windsurf foil but despite some early sunshine I could not find the enthusiasm as still a little chilly, I am definitely not so keen to get on the water these days! Mag had just returned from her early walk so I looked out of the widow and noticed a glimpse of red so I had a quick drive down to Felixstowe pier to take a few weather pics, still in my slippers! I managed my exercises and the showers arrived, we had Maeva arriving later in the afternoon for her first sleepover as her Mum and Dad were going the O 2 to see Florance and the machine we had enough time for a walk, by the time we got to the end of the road it was raining nicely, a quick spin round the libruary where Mag got a jigsaw puzzle by which time the rain had eased so we continued down the pram walk to the prom just as the blue sky was returning and there was a cracking selection of clouds which made for some OK pics. I was lucky enough to get one of them on BBC’s Look East:) Maeva arrived and said goodbye to her Mum and Dad and we had a brilliant time, playing beads, cutting paper, listening to music and enjoyed tea together. Mag then read loads of books before Maeva fell asleep, she was no bother at all!
